An overhead crane, commonly called a bridge crane, EOT crane (Electric Overhead Crane); is a type of crane usually found in industrial environments. There are many kinds of overhead crane types, some are divided into single girder and others are double girder overhead cranes. These include normal type, European type, magnetic crane, grab crane, explosion-proof crane, and so on. The design of these cranes is based on the environment its being used in and the different applications.
Single Girder Overhead Crane:
Single girder electric hoist overhead crane is widely used for material handling in various workstations of machinery, metallurgy, petroleum, petrochemical, ports, railways, civil aviation, electricity, food, paper, building materials, electronics, etc. They are also widely used in the occasions of precise material handling and precise assembly of large-scale parts, etc.
Double Girder Overhead Crane:
Double girder overhead crane is a stronger option. If you need to transport heavy loads more than 50ton across large areas or have a high work duty, then the double girder traveling crane is your first choice. Due to various main girder connection options, the double girder overhead crane integrates well into different building structures, whether new or existing.
Industrial Overhead Crane:
Metallurgy overhead crane, steel mill overhead crane, paper mill overhead crane, factory overhead crane, grab crane, mine overhead crane, magnet crane.
Gantry Crane is also known as Portal crane or Goliath crane. Includes single girder gantry crane, double girder gantry crane, engineer gantry crane, semi gantry crane, European type gantry crane; and operate on floor mounted rails. Mainly used in Steel, Forest Products, Intermodal, Biomass/Pellet, Concrete, and many other industries.
Single Girder Gantry Crane:
Normally, single girder gantry cranes are most widely used in open storage yards. Considered for their high quality and durability, these gantry cranes are not always the least expensive, but the most reasonable.
Double Girder Gantry Crane:
Double girder gantry crane is a heavy gantry crane with double girders, which is widely used for general purpose. Double girder gantry crane is a heavy duty crane, used at indoor and outdoor places where overhead crane runways are not practical. The lifting capacity of the double girder gantry crane is 5 to 500 tons.
Industrial Gantry Crane:
Metro gantry crane, Prefabrication gantry crane, Prefabrication gantry crane, Subway gantry crane, Universal gantry crane, and yard gantry crane.
The jib crane is a type of overhead lifting device that's often used in a smaller work cell area for repetitive and unique lifting tasks.
A jib or jib arm is the horizontal or near-horizontal beam used in many types of cranes to support the load clear of the main support. Usually jib arms are attached to a vertical mast or tower or sometimes to an inclined boom.
Pillar Jib Crane:
Pillar jib Crane has a simple construction. It includes the column, revolving arm, transmission, and electric hoist. It can improve work efficiency and conditions.
Wall Jib Crane:
Wall traveling jib crane is a cost-effective crane that travels along the rail, mounted on the wall or other supporting structure on the elevated orbit of a multilayer assembly shop, making the full advantage of the working space. The wall traveling jib crane can provide long lateral movement of materials and at the same time can lift the objects in the vertical direction by the lifting equipment.
